Why you need a repeater for FPV drones
A repeater for FPV drones is a special device to improve stability and increase the communication range between the UAV and the pilot. Its main task is to receive a signal from the drone’s camera and transmit it over a long distance without losing quality.
The devices perform the following functions:

What an FPV repeater consists of
Any repeater for FPV drone in Ukraine consists of the following elements:
- antenna – receives the signal from the drone and transmits it to the pilot’s receiver;
- signal amplifier – increases the signal strength to improve the quality of communication;
- noise filter – eliminates interference and improves the clarity of the video stream;
- microcontroller – controls the operation of all components and device settings;
- housing – protects the electronics from mechanical damage and external influences.

Technical characteristics of the FPV repeater
The Hunter A-1 aerial FPV repeater is a unique development of our company. It can be installed on various models of drones, including Hunter D-2, Mavka, Mavic 3, Autel and Matrice.
In addition, the device has the following characteristics:
- Strong signal. It supports 2W modules, which transmits a powerful signal and allows you to stay connected even in difficult conditions.
- Autonomy. The built-in 4S battery provides enough power for four flights. This means you can fly long missions without having to stop to recharge.
- Optimized communication. The device is equipped with Yagi and patch antennas. The former provides a directional and powerful signal over a long distance. The second one ensures uninterrupted video reception from the drone.
- Flexible settings. Thanks to interchangeable mounts, the range extender can be easily adapted to different video receiver antennas. In addition, it has a built-in SkyZone video transmitter with a frequency range of 5.0 or 5.8 GHz, which provides a clear picture even over long distances.
- Secure communication. We offer a choice of several communication protocols – ELRS or USMTR – so you can choose the most suitable for your security needs.
