What is a UAV type Wing?

Wing-type UAVs are universal airplane-type drones equipped with a rigid wing. They have a wide range of applications, which depends on the configuration. Drones can be used for reconnaissance, strike missions, and as repeaters. They are in great demand among the military due to their high efficiency in aerial reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, striking enemy targets, and transmitting and extending radio signals.

These UAVs have several characteristic features:

  • almost silent operation;
  • high flight speed, which makes it impossible to be shot down by small arms;
  • planning at high altitudes;
  • powerful batteries that allow drones to fly over long distances;
  • a variety of equipment that allows you to choose a drone for any task.

Technical specifications of drones Wing

Different manufacturers in Ukraine offer drones with different specifications. Hunter drones are distinguished by their robust design and high efficiency due to the following characteristics:

  • Wingspan. We present unmanned aerial vehicles with wingspans of 1.45 and 1.9 meters. They are characterized by excellent maneuverability and flight stability. In addition, these drones have excellent gliding characteristics.
  • Battery capacity. Wing-type UAVs have batteries with a capacity of 16000 mAh. Powerful batteries provide a long flight range and the ability to stay in the air longer.
  • Speed. The characteristics of each drone include cruising and maximum flight speed. The first parameter is the economic speed, which for our drones is 60-70 km/h and 80-90 km/h. The maximum speed at which the Hunter aircraft-type UAVs can fly is 120 km/h.
  • Payload. Depending on the model, these drones can carry loads from 1.5 to 2 kg.
  • Video transmitter frequency. By default, the “wings” are equipped with 5.8 GHz video transmitters. A more powerful 1.2 GHz transmitter can be installed as an option.

Thanks to the ability to install a thermal camera, the bomber can operate even in poor visibility conditions.
