Development and production of FPV drones
Ukrainian-made drones from USMT
USMT specializes in the development and production of military drones in Ukraine. Our team consists of more than 30 highly qualified specialists who pay great attention to pilot safety and the introduction of new technologies.
Our assortment includes:
- quadcopter-bombers;
- kamikaze drones;
- aircraft-type UAVs;
- unmanned aerial systems, etc.
Our staff includes engineers, programmers, technicians, test pilots and other specialists with extensive professional experience. Thanks to this, USMT products are highly effective on the battlefield.
Stages of cooperation for the production of drones for your needs
Our clients are mostly volunteers and the military. That is, people who directly interact with the equipment. That’s why we keep in close contact with the military, who in turn help us improve the UAVs.
How exactly does cooperation on drone production take place:
- A request from a client. You can contact us by phone or leave a request on the website. We will promptly contact you for further cooperation.
- Coordination of details. At this stage, we work with the client to agree on the drone’s specifications: its type, payload, flight range, autonomy, etc. In addition, we determine the additional capabilities of the UAV (video transmitter frequency, thermal imaging camera, communication protocol, etc.) We take into account all your needs and wishes regarding the functionality of the finished product.
- Production. Next, we transfer the technical specification to the production department, where our experienced specialists work on the assembly of drones. Only high-quality and reliable components from trusted manufacturers are used in the process.
- Testing. Testing of copters is an obligatory stage of production. Test pilots from the USMT team perform test flights to make sure that the drones work flawlessly.
- Delivery to the customer. We ship finished products to Kyiv and other cities of the country.
Drone development from idea to technical solution
Our company provides a full range of services in the field of drone manufacturing – from creating an idea to manufacturing products.
In general, the entire process consists of the following steps:
- Determination of requirements. The first step in developing drones is to determine their type. They can be reconnaissance, attack, training, etc. However, we specialize in manufacturing FPV models and bombers with a drop system.
- Development of a technical concept. Next, our specialists determine the main characteristics of the products (payload, flight range, etc.), select materials, control systems, communication modules, etc.
- Manufacturing and assembly. We manufacture frames, carefully select other components, and texture them before use. Then we assemble all the parts together and monitor the quality of soldering.
- Strength test. We check the performance of Ukrainian-made drones: flight stability, range, operating time, etc. We pay special attention to communication security. We use our own USMTR encryption protocol to prevent signal interception.
Manufacturing of FPV drones
Unlike reconnaissance drones, special conditions are imposed on the manufacture of FPV drones. An attack drone must not only be fast and maneuverable, but also safe, as it carries a significant explosive payload. That’s why we pay great attention to the choice of components and assembly quality.
The basic element of any FPV is its frame. We use a fiberglass base, which is lightweight and highly durable. Then other parts (batteries, propellers, controllers, camera, video transmitter, signal receiver, etc.) are attached to the frame. We manufacture some components of unmanned aerial vehicles ourselves, which increases the reliability of the finished FPV drone.
The production of HUNTER FPV drones has the following features:
- Ensuring the reliability of connections (soldering, wiring);
- selecting the optimal camera location to ensure the maximum viewing angle;
- thorough system setup (smooth control, transmitter power, signal reception, etc.);
- flight tests before applying them in real operations.
The great advantage of our products is that any copter can be adapted to the specific needs of the military.
Drone operator courses
If you want to learn the profession of a UAV operator, we invite you to our school.
The USMT program is structured as follows:
- theory – you will learn about the peculiarities of drone development, their structure, principles of operation, etc;
- simulator training – to practice your skills and improve your piloting technique;
- practice at the training ground – learn how to fly real drones in close-to-real conditions.
After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion and will be able to effectively perform various tactical tasks on the battlefield.
